  • 1. Water always tends to become hard (calcified).

    Imagine you're hungry and you go grocery shopping. As you walk through the store, you throw everything that looks delicious into your basket. Water behaves in much the same way as it makes its way to the surface. The water molecules dissolve minerals like magnesium, sodium, and calcium from the rock and form a protective "cage" around them. The water continues to do this until there are no more water molecules left to form another cage. Then the water is "saturated"—completely loaded with minerals.

  • 2. This is how lime gets into your house

    The mineral-filled cages carry the water into your home's pipes. But there, two "cage destroyers" lurk: 1. Heat: When water is heated, it becomes "stressed." The cages of water molecules break open. The minerals escape and form the annoying limescale that clogs up your coffee maker. 2. Pressure drop: The water in the pipes is under high pressure, which drops suddenly when the water shoots out of the tap. This shock bursts the water cages and releases the limescale... which then stains your shower screen, faucet, and your entire bathroom.

  • 3. Vodaclean creates new water molecules

    Inside the Vodaclean, your drinking water comes into contact with our catalytic film made of chromium, nickel, and iron. Upon contact, new water molecules are generated in fractions of a second – up to 3.5 million per liter. The water becomes "hungry" again and begins to encapsulate all available minerals with these fresh water molecules. This prevents annoying limescale deposits in kettles, bathrooms, coffee machines, and everywhere else in the house. The new water molecules also make water tanks and pipes so smooth that bacteria and germs can't adhere and are flushed away. This reduces the formation of germ and bacteria colonies by 98%, making your water safe.
